Aftercare Guidelines For PRP & PRF Injections
Post-Treatment Effects: Following your PRP and PRF injections, you may experience bruising, redness, itching, swelling and soreness, typically lasting 2-5 days.
A tingling sensation is normal as the cells are activated.

Managing Discomfort:

Apply ice or cold compresses if needed to reduce swelling.

Medication and Substance Avoidance:

Avoid aspirin, Advil, Motrin, Ibuprofen, Naproxen, and other anti-inflammatory medications for 3 days post-procedure (consult your doctor before discontinuing prescribed medications).

Avoid Blood Thinning Agents:

Refrain from alcohol, caffeine, and smoking for 3 days.

Do not use vitamin E, vitamin A, Ginko, Garlic, Flax, Cod Liver Oil, or Essential Fatty Acids for at least one week post-treatment, unless otherwise directed by a physician.

Activity and Environmental Considerations:

Avoid vigorous exercise, sun exposure, and heat exposure for at least 2 days.

Maintain increased water intake during the first week after treatment.
